Media on editorial assignment are invited to apply for credentials to cover X Games Aspen 2026, returning to Buttermilk for its 25th consecutive year.

Media space is limited and applications will be reviewed in the order received. Applicants will be notified of approval status by Monday, January 12, 2026.

Event Highlights
X Games will return to Buttermilk with world-class competition and entertainment as it celebrates 25 years at Aspen Snowmass.
Fans can look forward to:
- 18 total competitions across three full days, including men’s and women’s ski and snowboard SuperPipe, Slopestyle, Big Air, and Knuckle Huck, plus the return of Snowmobile Speed & Style and Freestyle competitions
- More than 100 elite action sports athletes, including Olympians Chloe Kim, Red Gerard, Scotty James, Colby Stevenson, Gus Kenworthy, Eileen Gu, and more (athletes subject to change)
- High energy music, including headline performances by Alesso (Saturday night) and Disco Lines (Friday night)
- Free access to all daytime competitions, with general admission and premium hospitality options available for evening events
