About Anni Karava
Anni made history as the first Finnish female freeskier to compete in a trick discipline at X Games, placing fourth in the Aspen 2024 Knuckle Huck. She has compiled five top-five World Cup finishes across big air and slopestyle, highlighted by her first podium—a second-place result at the January 2025 World Cup big air event in Kreischberg. In February 2023, she claimed fifth at the World Championships in Slopestyle, demonstrating her steady ascent in the freestyle world. A talented film skier, Anni was nominated for Female Skier of the Year at the 2023 High Five Festival and earned Newschoolers’ Female Skier Of The Year in 2024.
