About Kokomo Murase
Big Air gold with a first-in-women’s-competition backside double cork 1260 at X Games Norway 2018 made Kokomo Murase the youngest winter medalist as a rookie at 13. It took her 6 years to get back to the top of the podium, riding into X Games Aspen 2024 on a mission and leaving with gold in the debut of Women’s Snowboard Knuckle Huck gold, gold in Big Air after brining the first triple corks to the discipline, and Slopestyle silver: the closest any woman or any winter athlete has come to triple gold at X Games. Known for unveiling never-been-done tricks each season, she’s helped transform women’s snowboarding at X Games and elsewhere.
